Rap-Up.com || Video: Lauryn Hill Live at Harmony Festival

Lauryn Hill made another rare appearance last weekend at the 32nd Annual Harmony Festival in Santa Rosa, Calif. Ms. Hill put a new spin on some of her solo and Fugees material including “Ex-Factor,” “Fu-Gee-La,” and “Doo Wop (That Thing)” during a 75-minute set at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. “I love you,” she told fans. “It’s so good to see you.”

When she ran into a TMZ cameraman in April, the camera-shy singer hinted that we might get some new music from her sometime soon. In the meantime, catch her playing the Rock the Bells Festival in August.

That Ex Factor mix is amazing.. The rock edge and sped up tempo is SO fresh and I’m a hardcore R&B fan.. Sounds like something Tricky Stewart could have produced a little.. but it’s even more “rock-ish”..
I think it’s crazy that Lauryn is still on top of freshness after all the years, drama, and rumors.. She will come back and SLAY. Some musicians are just more inclined to be TIMELESS without all the effort and forcefullness of today’s acts
