After penning hit songs for Mary J. Blige, Danity Kane, and Jennifer Lopez, it’s Wynter Gordon’s time to shine. Fairytales come true in the video for the singer-songwriter’s debut single “Dirty Talk.” Wynter plays a bookworm who turns into a goddess once she steps into an imaginary world of nymphs. “I just wanted to go in a whole different direction ’cause the song is very dirty, but I’m not,” explained Wynter. “I didn’t want to do what was expected—raunch.”
I like this chick!!! She has huge cross-over potential, and I really think her music is authentic, she’s not a R&B chick trying to be pop…I really feel like this is her steez. I thought that the video was hella cute, and I like that it had a story (which was enjoyable), and did not necessarily fit in line with the song. Great song, cute video!!!
That video ain’t bad at all. it’s just that it doesn’t match the lyrics so we were expecting something different. But that visual change from what we are use to. Not badly executed… must be low budget video?
