Jay-Z Bowls with the Boys in NYC

Fresh from Japan where he played the Summer Sonic music festival, Jay-Z struck a pose and some pins with some famous faces and industry pals at Bottles & Strikes at Chelsea Piers Sports and Entertainment Complex in New York City on Tuesday (Aug. 10). Mrs. Carter was also in the house along with Usher, Robin Thicke, and New Orleans Hornet Chris Paul.

The hip-hop mogul will help kick off the inaugural World Basketball Festival on Thursday, following an on-court appearance by the 15 finalists for the 2010 USA Basketball World Championship Team. The event will stream live from Radio City Music Hall beginning at 6:30 p.m. EST.
