Big Boi

Since the release of Big Boi’s first album sans Andre 3000, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in July, the OutKast member has been on a steady performance run. From discussing current events during a rapper roundtable on “Chelsea Lately” to commanding the stage on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” the ATLien is promoting his new opus in a number of ways. Now, Big Boi can reach the masses on a more personal level as he embarks on a U.S. tour, appropriately titled “Son of Chico Dusty.”

Commencing in Atlanta at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater on August 26, the rapper will be greeting fans with several tracks from his debut, including his singles “Shutterbugg” and “Follow Us,” which features the Purple Ribbon recording group Vonnegutt.
