Can't Take That Away From Me

Rap-Up.com has your first look at the artwork for JoJo’s mixtape Can’t Take That Away From Me, the prequel to her third studio album All I Want Is Everything. Photographed by Steven Taylor and designed by Mowie Inc., the 19-year-old songstress keeps her head to the sky on the black-and-white cover.

“This mixtape is more experimental,” JoJo tells Rap-Up.com. “I was able to do some things that were more soulful, incorporate live instruments, and say things that I wouldn’t normally say on an album. I was just able to take more of a risk. It is all over the place, just like me.”

“In the Dark,” the first offering from Can’t Take That Away From Me, will premiere Monday on Rap-Up.com, followed by the full mixtape on September 7.

    This is not her come back album. This is a mixtape. It is exclusive through RapUp so it probably won’t be available on iTunes. Why is everyone so confused? It’s like they are so excited that they are not reading the article right.

    Wow. What a great cover. It’s BEAUTIFUL. And I think I love it so much, because JoJo looks very vunerable with her ear showing like that, and I think the whole picture kindof displays a very deep message. I love JoJo. And In The Dark will be great! I just know it :)

    sooo i luvvv the youtube leaks! Mostly “Forever In My Life” is my favoorite. and I have highly believe that that is probably the ONLY leak that she likes. Keep on forgetting to forget about you is good 2. Seriously though JoJo, put in the dark on itunes or youlle basically be punching yourself in the face. Im stacy, and im a Mac :)

    I really can’t wait! Why does it have to be MONDAY MORNING? That is so stupid. J-Angel, i agree with you completley, except for I think JoJo has made ‘In The Dark’ a song that will get attention and be catchy and play on the radio. It’s her first music release since 4 years!
