Lauryn Hill was blazing bright for her performance at the EXPRESS Rocks show during the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, last week. Clad in a wintery coat, the celebrated songstress delivered hits before a crowd of eager fans who sang along. Watch her rip through the Fugees classic “Killing Me Softly” and reggae-tinged tune “Turn Your Lights Down Low.” Take ‘em to church, Ms. Hill.
When Lauryn Hill sings, I feel like she makes a statement. Not only this is beautiful, but this is dominant. No body ever filled the gap she created when she left media & music life.
Looks like she showed up on time for the people in Utah. Seems she feels she can be 3-4hrs late for the folks in Atlanta and expect a good reception. After paying $75/ticket, the music sounds souless. She’s just out to make a buck on the fever of her return.
