Rap-Up.com || Janet Jackson Taps Teen Group Mindless Behavior to Open Tour

Mindless Behavior is ready to rock with the best. The teen quartet has been tapped to open for Janet Jackson’s “Number Ones: Up Close & Personal Tour” on select North American dates, most of which have already sold out.

Jackson handpicked the L.A.-based group, consisting of Prodigy, Roc Royal, Ray Ray, and Princeton, to support younger acts. “I am showcasing 20 kids under 20 who have changed their communities in positive ways,” stated Janet. “It’s exciting to have Mindless Behavior open for me in these cities because they are enriching our global community with their love of music, and that is what 20 under 20 is all about. I first listened to them on YouTube and think they are great. I hope you enjoy these kids as much as I do, they are very talented.”

The group echoed her sentiments, thrilled to be opening for the pop icon. “We’re so excited to be joining someone as legendary as Janet Jackson on her tour,” said Princeton. “We can’t wait to perform on her stage and show the crowd how to get Mindless!”

The teen act formed in 2008 following an audition for Vincent Herbert, who also discovered Lady Gaga. They have previously opened for Justin Bieber and the Backstreet Boys.

Very humble little cute kids!! Janet & Michael are the only artist that would give new comers a chance; this is going to make these guys very big touring with Janet. Remember Usher opened for Janet, Justin Timberlake’s group I cant think of their names, but i notice that Janet & Michael will let the newcomers open for them very nice. God will bless you more Janet!! I will be at the sold out Atlanta show!!!

Amber, do you really with your whole heart and soul and all of Janet’s catalog and ability to capture her audience that Ciria could have given American Idol the type of performance that Janet did and then be the number one selling video, , not only nmber one video, but the highlight of the season finale. GEt real, Cira is not in Janet lead, she has the street dancing, girl on the corner humping and pumping thing going on, but on with the level of class that Janet exhibits, she has a long way to go. Ciria can not sell out as Janet did, no way, not gonna happen

Remember @ each show she will have 20 kids under the age of 20 that has done something positive with in their communities. Instead of people talking shit they need to take the time and read what she’s trying to accomplish with this tour. SIDENOTE: Usher and NSync opened for Janet back in the day look where it took them.

i feel that janet is a very positive person in which takin kids of my generation and giving them a positive message to follow. i also want to say that i am a 13 yr. old and love that group and what janet is doing is showing people how talented our generation really is.143;) ps: ray ray (the one with the braids) got enough and dont need no more hatas even tho their good motivators. again 143;)

Everybody has an opening act,s o why would this be any different. I saw these kids on several shows and last night on the Monique show and they have true talent. just because you never heard of them don’t mean they are not talented. Where would Destiny’s Child have been without the show “Star Search” and yes, maybe they would have made it anyway but lets get real…everyone need the exposure. Plus, Beyonce is very greatful for her breaks she and the rest of Destiny’s Child got at 17 & 18 yrs old. If you don’t want to see the opening act than don’t go.

i ove the mindless behavior roup nd it was nice to hear the interestsof them nd my favorite is princeton but i really wouldnt want to chose because its hard but i believe this mindless behavior group s the best group that has ever came out nd i know all of there songs nd every song that they make the first time i hear it listen to t all day nd every da nd i every concert that they have had or will be joining i try to go or i have went to or am going to go to………………… but still i love mindless behavior <3 <3 <3 <3 also my favorite color is all of there colors
