Back when Brandy was a teenager, she was already sittin’ on top of the world. On the latest episode of MTV’s “When I Was 17,” the R&B star reminisced about balancing schoolwork while filming her hit show “Moesha,” her shopping habit, bum rushing the stage after winning a Grammy for “The Boy Is Mine,” and how she fainted when Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins introduced her and her brother Ray J to the King of Pop.

“I’m looking at him like, ‘Oh my God. This is Michael Jackson,’” recalled Brandy of seeing the legend in person. “I fainted, blacked out—like seriously blacked out.”

my favorite part is when her and monica won a grammy for the boy is mine and she ran down the aisle onto the stage and just took the grammy and it took monica a good min to get on the stage. Thats was funny!!

she misspoke that was not monica’s first # 1 song.. Monica was one of the first people at fifteen in 95 since Stevie wonder in the 60″s to have two back to back #1″s on Billboard.

If she misspoken about Monica then she misspoken about herself because she had already hit #1 before this song, but neither did it on the main chart.
