Lets stop focusing on the petty shit like her weight (which is fine by the way) or her hair, and focus on the fact that this was one of her best live vocals to date! She has obviously improved over the years. Oh and her and jennifer sound good together, rihanna held her own against her. Really smart move to do this song at a country event, shows her appeal to a wide audience and could win her fans from a different demographic. Also much needed support for the new single.

This was a decent performance and when it started, i liked the way Ri sounded but when Jennifer came out and assisted w/the chorus she completely drowned Riri out cause Jennifer’s voice is much more powerful. I think I liked the performance more than others because CKB is actually my favorite song on that Loud CD next to Raining Men. The words in CKB are very nice IMO.
This could have very well been Jennifer’s song as she def OWNED it.

Rihanna is simply stunning and amazing. I agree that her microphone was irritatingly low (as if not hooked up!) and the instruments were blasting and drowning Rihanna out. The combo of low mic and poorly produced music (waaay too loud) made it hard to hear RiRi…but when you play it back you can hear Rihanna sounded flawless!! Love her!!

it really does not matter if jennifer out song riri one little bit, because it was jennifer turf and riri was invited therefore it’s all good. riri and jenn are friends and jennifer helped riri to promote this song to the highest degree. jen is a vetran and she looks good and sounds good riri is a great singer snd shes growing at a rapit rate of speed. riri will be around for many moons and u can’t deny that she keeps tapping into new and different territories and she has the pedal to the metal and shes not letting up no time soon.

I really don’t understand why people come on here to say garbage. If you don’t like Rihanna and you know and believe in your heart that she can’t sing, then why bother watching the video? I mean you know what to expect right? I swear on every Rihanna post you see “she can’t sing”, if you feel that way then why continue to watch her videos. Why waste YOUR time?
I think she did a great job and she’s really doing her thing right now, so thats all that matters.
