Rap-Up.com || Rihanna Rocks Rockefeller Plaza for ‘Today’ Show [Video]

Rihanna stormed the streets of New York City to kick off the “Today” show’s 16th annual Toyota Concert Series in Rockefeller Plaza, performing “S&M,” “What’s My Name,” “Only Girl (In the World),” and “California King Bed.” The red-haired siren gave viewers a “LOUD” awakening in advance of her North American tour, launching next month.

Im going to give credit where its due, I enjoyed watching the news this morning, She kept my attention, she DANCED, i love to see singers who sing dance music to actually DANCE and she did, She has a care free performance and thats what felt authentic. And she sanged California King Bed so well, I never heard it before, but i just bought it on ITUNES and she sounds good. Whats my name was dat SHITTT, S&M was a great entrance , even when that boy grabbed her and made her hit her knee she kept singing, (BUT WATCH HER FACE WHILE SHE WALKS DOWN, PAIN) lol. I think i just became a fan. How do i get inducted to the “RIHANNANAVY” Im buying loud right NOW. And this bitch fashion be changing but its always HOTT and she OWNs her clothes. IM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE WAY THE TODAY SHOW SET UP THE VENUE, IVE NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WHEN IVE ATTENDED FREE CONCERTS AT BRYANT OR CENTRAL PARK. IT WAS HOT, OVER CROWDING INTO A TIGHT SPACE, PPL WITH THEIR CRAZY SIGNS PREVENTED PPL IN THE BACK FROM SEEING HER, AND BODY ODOR!

AT BEST I SAW RIHANNA’S HAIR AND HEAD, SHE DID SOUND GREAT, BUT I WILL NEVER ATTEND A TODAY SHOW VENUE AGAIN!

The show was great! I traveled from Philadelphia at 3am to see this concert. However I was upset that I was forced to stand behind the stage although I had been in line since 5:30am. I was also devastated that she didn’t choose people with the top ten signs as promised. I carried my humongous sign on the bus all the way from Philly and she didn’t even look in my direction.

Her voice is improving, but she’s still not a strong singer. But her dancing is still stiff and lame, but overall, I will give this performance a 7/10. I have seen much much better. And to the people saying her voice is amazing and her dancing is perfect, stop lying to yourselves. I understand that you may be die hard Rihanna fans and that’s fine, but do not delude yourselves into thinking she just gave this 100% perfect, epic performance, she strained vocally during all 4 performances and she basically stood there the entire time, and no I am hating on Rihanna, I am only giving constructive criticism. She really does need to work on her stage presence and her vocal control. If Rihanna really knew how to dance, was a vocal beast and wrote and produced her songs, Rihanna would be bigger than Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Ciara, Britney Spears, Alicia Keys, Adele, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Keri Hilson and Christina Aguilera combined. Rihanna still has a long way to go.
