Rap-Up.com || Jennifer Hudson Cast as Nun in ‘Three Stooges’

Jennifer Hudson is preparing for her most holy role yet. The 29-year-old actress has been cast as a nun in 20th Century Fox’s big screen adaptation of The Three Stooges.

The Oscar winner will play Sister Rosemary alongside fellow nuns Jane Lynch and Larry David in the orphanage where the Stooges spend time, according to Deadline.com. She joins a cast that also includes Chris Diamontopoulos (Moe), Sean Hayes (Larry), and Will Sasso (Curly).

Production on the comedy, directed by the Farrelly brothers, has already commenced in Atlanta, with the film set to arrive in theaters in 2012.

Hudson recently played Winnie Mandela in the biopic Winnie, which is currently in post production and due for release this fall.

@Diego, Actually her album was certified Gold a couple weeks ago. That’s pretty well for an R&B artist in todays industry.

Dear Son, I will always love Jennifer Huston in American Idol, but well done to her for getting cast as a nun, will David Schwimmer, Mel Gibson, Gabriel Byrne or Colin Farrell get cast as Shemp? One way or another, let’s wait for the sequel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AMEN!

Dear Father, she really is something and I found her kind of cute, I don’t think nobody does not have the same soul as American Idol winner turned R&B star Jennifer Huston, she will be excellent as a nun well enough, I think Mel Gibson might give it a try as Shemp, I found him funny doing a excellent Three Stooges impression of Curly in Lethal Weapon 2, so why not father and let’s hope for everybody show some respect to know who The Three Stooges was and god forgive us AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
