New Music: Joe Jonas – ‘See No More’ (Co-Written by Chris Brown)![]() Chris Brown lends his songwriting skills to fellow heartthrob Joe Jonas on the first single from his solo debut. Co-written by Breezy and Jonas and produced by Brian Kennedy (“Forever,” “Disturbia”), the edgy pop tune serves as a reminder of a relationship that is no more. “The song is about a relationship ending and you’re trying to get over it, but at the same time you’ve got these mixed feelings [and] you’re fighting everything of seeing that person,” the Jonas Brother told E! News. “It sounds like a sad song, but it carries a cool beat to it.” The 21-year-old singer explained how the collaboration came about. “It kinda just fell together. Me and Chris were just hanging out one day listening to each other’s music that he was working on, I was working on, and all of a sudden it was just electric,” he said. “I’ve always been a fan of his music.” Jonas’ album, due September 6, will feature additional production from Danja and Rob Knox. after listening, i hope that joe will take a more R&B route for his entire album. of his brothers, he has the most style & most individual appeal. the song is a good look for him. these jonas groupies have been plugging this on tumblr for the last two months. it will definitely be a hit.

@jeremydante, I agree with CC. The only two pop/white artists that can lean R&B and sound believable are Justin Timberlake & JoJo. They come across real. I like Joe Jonas but he needs credibility in our world before he can be taken seriously. Its cool he worked with Chris Brown but this sounds like a Chris Brown song. Joe needs something that is unique to him

Brian Kennedy said that Chris Brown really pushed Joe in the studio. You can really hear it because he has a whole new sound versus what he usually sounds like with his brother.

The mixing needs some work the beat is a little too dominant over his vocals in my opinion, but yeah he sounds a lot like Chris on this, Chris wrote it though, so go figure lol, naw it sounds like he’s doing background vocals though

This is the first site that finally got a clear version, every other site it’s blocked!
I never really followed the Jonas Brothers, so I’m not really familiar with his sound, but this sounds pretty good. The lyrics are nice and it’s a good vocal performance from him.
Joe is definitely the cutest one. I hope this record does well for him. This adds to CB’s writing creds!

When the song started, I started thinking…
“She got that good-good,
She Michael Jackson bad,
I’m attracted to her,
For her attractive ass…”

@lea, You clearly don’t know anything about recording b/c there is auto-tune throughout the whole song.

@lea, I rarely ever comment here but I felt the need to speak up this time. This is an amazing song for sure. But as a producer, I can tell you for sure that there is pitch correction ALL OVER this song. It has the digital artifacts that auto tune (and other pitch correction software) causes when it’s applied to a vocal. You’re right, there are plenty of other techniques used in recording, but Brian and Chris definitely didn’t try to hide the auto-tune here. Don’t take it personally, there’s nothing wrong with using auto tune.

The only 2 pop stars who can get away with singing soulful records are JT & JoJo. They have credibility in the urban world. The rest of them sound like they are trying too hard. Sorry try something else.
