Bruno Mars Pays Tribute to Amy Winehouse at VMAs [Video]
Bruno Mars honored the late Amy Winehouse during the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, performing her cover of The Zutons’ “Valerie.” After a heartfelt introduction from Tony Bennett that featured studio footage from their collaboration “Body & Soul,” the “Grenade” singer took the stage dressed in a turquoise jacket and his signature Pompadour, running through the soulful cut in remembrance of the soul songstress.

eh, I wish her band or Mark Ronson would be there. Bruno Mars had done a good performance, although ‘Valerie’ by Winehouse was in fact a cover song on The Zutons.
All I’m saying is that Bruno Mars and the Hooligans should have went for a song that Amy Winehouse wrote; not a cover she did.

Bruno needs to record this song , he made it his own.Amy will be missed her talents will never be duplicated. She had the voice of R&B AND JAZZ combined created a sound like an instrument.Another point you could not keep your eyes off her while she performed.Amy had a mystical ora an inner spirit controlling her personality.Sometimes good and sometimes bad ,to sum it up she was an amazing young lady.
