Breakout star Bei Maejor made his first appearance on “106 & Park” on Friday, where he discussed his start writing for Trey Songz and Ne-Yo, going to college while pursuing his career as a producer, and the artists on the remix to his first single “Trouble.”
“Life is just a party right now. I’m feeling so good,” the 24-year-old singer/songwriter/producer told Rocsi and Terrence.
His J. Cole-assisted single “Trouble” is burning up airwaves and is about to get another boost with the remix featuring some superstar guests. “The first verse is Wale, the second verse is Trey Songz, third verse is T-Pain, Cole, and there’s one more special guest that I ain’t gon’ say yet,” he revealed.
He has also been in the studio working on Justin Bieber’s upcoming album. “I actually just did a song with Justin Bieber that’s insane,” he added.
Bei Maejor will showcase his “Upscale Urban” sound on his debut album, due in 2012 on RCA Records.
