Melanie Fiona sings a new tune on “Change the Record,” a cut off her sophomore album The MF Life, now due March 20. Written by Andrea Martin, the Canadian songbird soars over the pop-rock beat, which features a verse from B.o.B. “If you don’t like how he’s playin’, then change the record,” sings Melanie, who encourages her fellow females to do better. Take this one for a spin.

@GG, Melanie Fiona is already happening, whether you like it or not. Her first album went Gold and had a #1 R&B hit. “4 AM” is climbing up the charts, and she just won two Grammy’s. And she’s only getting better with time.

its artists like her that will last a long time, and have a long career. shes slowly and steadily getting bigger and bigger, and evolving. its better than coming out and burning hot, but fizzing out fast. big things to come from her.

@joey, I agree 100%! If she keeps making great music like this she’ll be around for a long ass time. She’s a great live performer so I hope she goes on tour with this album. B.O.B. was an interestingly good fit for this song too. Melanie Fiona is the REAL DEAL.

Woow…I heard the song almost 6 months ago in Switzerland on her concert and couldn’t find it on youtube. Finally she releases it! Baaaam MFLIFE gonna be a hit!
