Rap-Up.com || Kid Cudi Shows Off His Slit Wrists Tattoos

The old Kid Cudi is gone. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper killed off his former self, showing the bloody scars with a gruesome new tattoo.

“New Tat The old Scott is dead…slit wrists,” wrote Cudi, who released his WZRD album with Dot Da Genius today.

The project is already #1 on iTunes, but he is not happy with the way his label has supported it. “Ok so just a heads up, my weak ass label only shipped 55k physicals cuz they treated this like some indie side project tax right off,” he tweeted. “They tried to rush me thru this so i can just give em another MOTM, but guess what? Fuck that, next album is WZRD. MOTM3 on hold til 2014.”

The duo is planning to tour in support of the album and is already working on a follow-up EP.

I kind of lost a bit of respect for him for this tattoo. Like, teens look up to rappers and entertainers, its like hes crying to make suicide cool? Killing yourself ain’t cool man.. kids will ACTUALLY do it. It’s a serious issue and lots of young, black, white, mexican, asian, youth die each year.. nice that he can get rid of his old self.. but a lot of people cant..

It’s beautiful actually all you do is trust kid cudi and that he had the best intentions and motives for the tattoo and the people saying negative shit are just taking it their way and that is just a reflection of who THEY truly are, not kid cudi. And his tattoo wasn’t to please or hurt anyone it had nothin to do with anyone but himself. And saying that itll promote suicide? The idiot taking a picture drawn on his wrist symbolizing rebirth and killin themselves must not have any life in em anyways. Should we ban picturs of jesus on the cross and the tattoos people get of the nails in his hands and feet.

Wow, can’t believe how people freak out over tattoos, I mean really, like thousands of other people dnt have even creepier or messed ones? Cudi just expresses himself more than most rappers which makes him an even better one. Hence him being “weird” doesn’t seem to get peoples minds that he knows he is, but he doesn’t care for wut anyone else thinks. Plus tattoos have meaning, whether good or bad, doesn’t matter it doesn’t make him a bad person or someone u can’t look up to anymore. an no this isn’t making fun of other depressed people. In no way is he trying to do that. People just want to argue about somthing just for the sake of doing it. Cudi is my favorite artist, he doesn’t rap about crap like others, for example lil wayne. He has meaning to his lyrics wwhich makes him really good, stop hating.
