Rap-Up.com || New Music: Nelly Furtado – ‘Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)’ [Snippet]

Nelly Furtado does it way big on “Big Hoops (Bigger the Better),” the first single off her fourth English album The Spirit Indestructible, due June 19. The Canadian chanteuse returns to a more urban sound on the beatboxing production by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins.

“Bet you never heard something like that,” sings Nelly, who also collaborated with Nas, Salaam Remi, and Tiesto on the follow-up to 2006’s multi-platinum album Loose.

The song goes to iTunes on Apri1 17, but check out a snippet in the video below.

Rodney Jerkins is a Timbaland wanna be, this sounds like something Tim would produce. Sounds like it’s a hot song though.

@Whatever, True hope for the best with her she probably didn’t get to hit the studio with Tim with him doing SV3 and Missy’s Album i hope she works with Danja though Tim and Danja killed it with Loose i don’t know if she will do another record like that again

@whatever / Jerkins is definately not a timbaland wanna be, his hit singles list is incredible and he know how to refresh his style. Jerkins is a fan of timbo and timbo is a fan of timbaland acording to Brandy. This song seems to be dope
