Kanye West and Justin Bieber Hit the Studio![]() While it’s been widely reported that Kanye West was working on Justin Bieber’s album Believe, we now have photographic evidence. The hip-hop superstar and teen sensation hit the studio for a late-night recording session in New York on Friday. Bieber is close to wrapping his album, due June 19. “Putting the finishing touches on the album and it’s gonna be special! @justinbieber and @kanyewest#Believe,” tweeted Biebs’ right hand man Kenny Hamilton. The two previously worked together on the remix to “Runaway Love” featuring Raekwon and expressed their mutual appreciation for each others’ music. In addition to Yeezy, Biebs has logged studio time with Timbaland, Drake, Pharrell, Danja, Hit-Boy, will.i.am, and Diplo. @Replay, If Kanye West is a sellout for working with Justin Bieber, that means Jay-Z is a sellout for working with Linkin Park, that means Nas is a sellout for working with Beastie Boys, that means Run DMC is a sellout for working with Aerosmith, that means R. Kelly and Ludacris are sellouts for working with Kid Rock, that means Method Man, Redman, and DMX are sellouts for working with Limp Bizkit, that means Lil Wayne is a sellout for working with both Robin Thicke and Kid Rock, that means T.I. is a sellout for working with Justin Timberlake. Rappers have always done songs with pop artists and rock-n-roll artists, that doesn’t always mean that they are sellouts. You need to shut the fuck up, and listen to all music before you judge everyone.

@Singh,, My last post was directed at Replay, not you, I think Replay was wrong for calling Kanye West a sellout. I still think you are wrong and stupid for calling me a dumbass, I know you were talking about quality of music. In my last post, I said that rap artists have always done songs with pop artists, and rock-n-roll artists. Just because a rapper does songs with a pop artist, or a rock-n-roll artist doesn’t always mean that the rapper is becoming a sellout. Kanye West’s last album MBDTF went platinum, and won 4 Grammy Awards, but MBDTF didn’t sell tons of records, despite MBDTF getting critical acclaim. Kanye West has won 18 Grammy Awards. Kanye West has done extremely good without any help from Justin Bieber. You are overraching, stupid, and wrong, if you still think my last post was about race, because it truly wasn’t at all.

Kanye’s last album went about gold the first week, and has now went on to go platinum. It also produced a single that was a Top 5 Hit on the Hot 100 and has went double platinum. He lead the nominations at the last grammy awards, and he won all 4 of he rap category grammys. His career is doing just fine without Justin Bieber, so I’d hardly say he’s selling out. ANYWAY, I respect every single producer listed to be working on his album, and Drake & Kanye are definitely talented, so I’m looking forward to this album actually. With all the talented people assisting Bieber with it, I doubt it will be a flop. And “Boyfriend” is a good single as well

Kanye, why did you have to work with Bieber for? He’s not a sellout, I just want Ye to work with talented artists who will still be around in the next 10 years.

@White Boy, Yes cause at the moment his fans are like 8-18 years old and only like him casue of his image. Once those girls get older and he gets older he won’t be viewed as a ‘hearthrob’.

Ya’ll gotta give this kid some credit. Yeah maybe his stuff was manufactured when he was younger but that’s his parents fault. Now that he’s old enough to call his own shots he’s choosing to take his music to a different level, with hip-hop roots. Can you blame him, honestly? All of you post on a rap forum for a reason, because rap is the best music out there, period. It’s a smart business AND musical decision to work with Kanye.

Give the kid a break. I’m really happy that he’s finally stepped up to the challenge of getting in the studio with different artists & producers and that he wrote or co-wrote 99% of the songs. We’ll just have to wait and see. Heard that song with Drake is amazing.

kanye west is sellout in his own way, he got a much more mature crowd&fans.. so its more difficult cause everybody wanna become a rockstar these days !now lemme tell you why justin bieber is a “sellout” , CAUSE it’ll be small girls’mamas gettin headeachs if not buying bieber’s album thats about it !wait some time folks i promise you biebers’ crowd will start to fall apart sooner or later he’s simply not trending no mo, and Ye will be it intead cause its embarrassing listenin or talking bout justin,
i think its called Growth ! and high treason for leaving bieber island ! but he’s talented tho ..
