Rap-Up.com || Chris Brown Dances Into Theaters in ‘Battle of the Year’ [Trailer]

Chris Brown is making major moves on the big screen. Following his roles in Takers and Think Like a Man, the R&B superstar plays a B-boy in Battle of the Year, which explores the international world of breakdancing.

The 3-D film follows an all-star American dance crew led by a demanding coach (Josh Holloway). Despite being misunderstood by society and even their own families, they don’t give up on their dreams. The team meets up in France and competes in the “Battle of the Year” finals against other nations, all vying for the title of World Champion. A blond Breezy show off his fancy footwork (and abs) in the trailer.

Battle arrives in theaters in January 2013.

@Batman, If you think about it Dance movies aren’t even made that often. Its more comedic/ action super hero/ love movies that are made all year round including horror films… Then evey now and then a dance movie comes out.

I am gonna see this movie but dance movies are played out…. Stomp the yard was cool because it wasnt only dancing and it had great stars. But this is just about a dance group coming together than winning a tournament….Who hasnt seen that?!?!

The movie is actually based on an award winning documentary about a form of dancing none as break damcing, different dancers competing in dance offs in other countries, so it’s just not another dance movie. Agree with @ someone, that person was right on point!
