Mariah Carey, Meek Mill, and Rick Ross Perform ‘Triumphant’ at NFL Kickoff

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey helped kick off the new NFL season with a performance in the middle of NYC’s Rockefeller Plaza. Before the Dallas Cowboys took on the New York Giants in the main event, the pop diva tackled the stage during the pre-game show. She was joined by Jermaine Dupri and MMG all-stars Meek Mill and Rick Ross for her new single “Triumphant (Get ‘Em)” and took it back with some of her classics including “Always Be My Baby.”

I LOVE MARIAH!!! The more I here that song, the more I love it. It’s just so empowering. Makes me feel good. This song also made me a Rick Ross fan, he’s pretty dope on this. And Always Be My Baby is STILL one of my favorite songs. I have every album she’s ever release and there are just so many classic. MC is definitely one of the greatest singer/songwriter/vocalist of all time!!!! I’m getting that album fasho!!!! :)

She has so much talent and not a clue what to do with it unless she has someone calling the shots for her. She used to be a professional. If you’re going to perform in front of a live audience, and you’re known for your voice, rehearse the song and performance beforehand. She’s sealing her own-fate as a has-been, and it’s sad to watch.

THIS IS REAL RnB PEOPLE! Props and RESPECT to MC for not giving into the TECHNO radio trends of today and making the music SHE loves and keeping RnB/Hip Hop alive!! She was the originator of the RnB/Rap Duet- “Fantasy w/ ODB”. So many RnB artist are leaving it for radio friendly techno!! (Usher, Neyo, Nicki, Kelly, Chris Brown.)

    mariah2012 Reply:

@Diego, they seem a little hoarse here, and were definitely better at the beginning of the year.

MAYBE its just a reflection of how much she’s putting into the next album? *wishful thinking*
