Rap-Up.com || Rihanna Leads 2012 MTV EMA Nominations

That Rihanna reign just won’t let up. After winning Video of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards, the pop star leads the pack with six nominations at the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards.

RiRi scores nods in categories including Best Female, Best Pop, and Best Video for “We Found Love.” In the latter, she will compete against M.I.A.’s “Bad Girls,” Lady Gaga’s “Marry the Night,” Katy Perry’s “Wide Awake,” and PSY’s “Gangnam Style.”

Taylor Swift picks up five nominations, while Justin Bieber and Katy Perry earn four. Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey, Carly Rae Jepsen, and fun. were nominated for three EMAs each.

Jay-Z and Kanye West will vie for Best Hip-Hop against Drake, Nas, Rick Ross, and Nicki Minaj, while Rihanna battles Pitbull and Chris Brown, Carly Rae Jepsen, Gotye, and fun. for Best Song.

The 2012 MTV EMA will air live from Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany, on November 11.

I think people who say rihanna is talentless annoy me now. Get rid of the bandwagon opinion already.
I used to hate Rihanna off of others opinions until I went on youtube to see why everyone hates on her so much. And Yeah I did find performances where she didn’t do well, but I also found performances where she sang her songs well Idk why people continue to bash her. The girl can DRESS, can DESIGN clothes well, produced her OWN SHOW in the UK, and I watched Battleship and I must say she is a GOOD actor. So why is it that people bash her . I def am not “navy”, but i’m open minded and fair. Rihanna doesn’t deserve all the insults you throw at her, being that she works her ass off.
When I actually stop being a dickrider using the same insults and opinions formulated by others and found shit out for myself I was utterly surprised at how much there is to Rihanna. I commend her for all her nominations. I’m happy for her. It’s a difference if you’re not a fan of pop music, but to just slander her maliciously is petty.
