To thank his fans for all their support during his release week, Kendrick Lamar drops a fresh new joint produced by J. Cole and Canei Finch.
“The week is up… Yall did it… AppreciatIon day is TODAY. With that being said. Me and COLE was in the stu lastnight,” tweeted K-Dot, whose album good kid, m.A.A.d city is expected to debut at No. 2 with over 240,000 copies sold in its first week.
There’s more where this came from. The young MCs have been in and out of the studio working on a collaborative project. “I’m not making it like a mixtape,” said Cole. “I’m approaching the beats like it was my album.”

@Pereezy YMCMB MMG DreamChasers Records, First of all, J. Cole has Dreamville Records. Secondly, he is not the next “Weezy” of hip-hop. J. Cole’s lyrics have substance and he has a story to tell, unlike your idol “Weezy.”

J. Cole needs to quit playing and release a mixtape … or, something. SHIT! I’d settle for Man on Fire, Crooked Smile & Chaining Day in EP form.
