If you think you know Nicki Minaj, think again. The reigning rap diva will give fans a glimpse into her life on her new E! reality show, “Nicki Minaj: My Truth,” which premieres Sunday at 10:30 p.m. During an interview with Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM, she told viewers to expect the unexpected.

“My diehard fans have seen that side, but I think the world hasn’t really gotten a chance,” she told Seacrest. “You’re gonna see the no makeup, the crazy, sweaty face in the studio, the regular stuff. You’re gonna see rehearsals for the tour. People always see the glamorous side when I’m all made up and done up.”

The three-part series will also feature members of her team and those closest to her. “It’s showing us take on all these new things that have been thrown my way recently,” she said. “I think that’s the first time people are gonna understand me the person as opposed to this persona. I don’t know who people think I am, but I’m pretty sure they’ve got me all not figured out.”

The “American Idol” judge has had a lot on her plate recently. In addition to touring overseas, she will perform at the American Music Awards on November 18 and release her album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up the following day.
