Rap-Up.com || Ciara Wins Praise from Nicki Minaj

A Nicki Minaj and Ciara collaboration is coming your way by popular demand. Thanks to repeated requests from fans, the ladies have teamed up for “I’m Legit” off Nicki’s upcoming album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up.

“My fans had been asking me to work with her for a long time so I thought it’d be kinda cute,” the Young Money rapper told The BoomBox. “I’ve always thought Ciara was so dope.”

Right before the deadline, the “Sorry” singer went in the studio and was able to deliver a winning performance. “It’s like she nailed it so crazy,” said Nicki. “We were afraid that whoever would end up singing it wouldn’t really sing it exactly how we wanted it to sound, but she nailed it times 10.”

She also praised Ciara for her dance moves. “Let’s face it, she’s probably one of the best dancers that we’ve had in our generation,” proclaimed Nicki. “So that alone just makes her very iconic.”

CiCi returned the compliment. “I love Nicki, I think she’s super fly,” she told Rap-Up.com.

@Joey, V103 Atlanta radio interview; I believe on Friday 2 Nov. you can either listen to the audio or watch the recorded stream. Stevie Wonder has spoken to Ciara twice before and came to station to personally “see” her after learning of her upcoming visit and there you can “see [the praise or rather admiration] with [your] eyes”

I agree with Nicki. Ciara is one of the best dancers of this generation. Ciara’s dance skills are up there with the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Aaliyah and Jennifer Lopez.
