Rap-Up.com || Destiny’s Child to Perform at the Super Bowl

Beyoncé won’t be the only member of Destiny’s Child on stage at Super Bowl XLVII next month. Her DC groupmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams will also reportedly join her during the halftime show.

Multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly that the R&B trio will reunite during Beyoncé’s much-anticipated performance at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on February 3.

Beyoncé will open the show solo, bringing out Kelly and Michelle midway into her set for a brief medley of the group’s greatest hits, ending with their new song “Nuclear.” The Pharrell-produced track, their first original material since 2004, appears on their career-spanning compilation Love Songs, due January 29.

Beyoncé will take the field again for the finale, which is said to include the debut of a track off her upcoming fifth album.

@Quest, excuse me but Kelly has always been just as talented – if not more – as Beyonce but they pushed her to the back because Matt and Tina wanted their daughter to shine. Beyonce couldn’t make it on her own. Her parents saw she was struggling so they needed to assemble what they considered ‘less important chicks’ to make their daughter desirable. Kelly has always stood out, though.

This is what I have been waiting for. They all have done good things in there own right but IMO DC3 will always be “it”. Bey sold the most records in this group and their full albums were GREAT! and to compare them is just dumb because together they made something so legendary as a group! can’t wait to see them at the Superbowl!!
