Rap-Up.com || Mixtape Cover: Bow Wow

Bow Wow takes it back to his “Lil” days on the cover of his upcoming mixtape Greenlight 5, hosted by DJ Jus, DJ Ill Will, and DJ Rockstar. The “106 & Park” host digs into the archives and selects a throwback photo from his childhood.

The 25-year-old rapper recently revealed that the project will feature appearances from Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, Kendrick Lamar, Jadakiss, Gucci Mane, Busta Rhymes, Omarion, and Lil Wayne, who appears on the single “We Bout That (Eat the Cake).”

I don’t know whether to laugh at Bow Wow or feel bad for him. He really wants people to take him seriously as a rapper, I won’t call him an MC, but he puts out generic regurgitated trash, and wonders why no one likes it. He could have Jay-Z, Nas, Talib Kweli and Rakim on here, and I bet it would still be terrible.

I respect Bowwow’s music because he talks about what he was raised on which is money, Stuntin, and girls! People always say they want somebody REAL and Bowwow is being real that’s what he grew up on! You can’t say he’s not a good rapper because he don’t talk about shooting, killing, or the struggle in the hood. And People say that he is trying to be hard because he curse in his music lol but if they new they history Bowwow was cursing before he met dr.dre and snoop dog but JD made him stop cursing in his music to appeal to the kid audience!
