Rap-Up.com || Rick Ross Escapes Gunfire, Crashes Rolls-Royce After Drive-By Shooting

Rick Ross’ birthday celebration ended with a bang when a gunman opened fire on his Rolls-Royce on Monday morning in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

The Maybach Music boss was driving down East Las Olas Boulevard when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into an apartment building around 5 a.m., according to police (via The New York Times).

The “B.M.F.” rapper had just dined at a restaurant on Las Olas after celebrating his 37th birthday at LIV nightclub in Miami with Diddy, Ludacris, and French Montana. He was behind the wheel and the passenger was his girlfriend, Shateria L. Moragne-el, 28.

According to TMZ, “dozens” of shots were fired at the vehicle, hitting local businesses but missing the car. No one was injured, and the gunman escaped.

His rival 50 Cent was quick to speak out, calling the incident a stunt. “Hahaha fat boy hit the building? lol it looks staged to me. No hole’s in da car,” he tweeted.

Police have not made any arrests in connection with the shooting and no suspects have been identified.
