Bruno Mars Performs 'When I Was Your Man' on 'Ellen'

With the lights turned down low, Bruno Mars hit the stage on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to perform his single “When I Was Your Man.” The R&B heartthrob charmed his way through the stripped-down set with only a red piano and a mic.

The song rises 2-1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Top 40 radio airplay tally, giving Bruno his sixth No. 1 in the chart’s 20-year history.

He recently cut off his trademark locks, documenting the process on Twitter. “I’m gonna make a mustache with it!” he joked.

Bruno will perform at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards along with Prince, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and Miguel. The show airs live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 19, on ABC.
