Beyoncé Performs ‘Grown Woman’ Live in Paris

Beyoncé

When Beyoncé kicked off “The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” last week, some fans were disappointed that she didn’t perform any new material. But she surprised her Paris fans by debuting “Grown Woman” live for the first time on Wednesday. Wearing a colorful Kenzo dress, Queen Bey performed the song in its entirety toward the end of her sold-out show at Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy.

“I’m a grown woman, I do whatever I want,” she sings while debuting some all-new choreography with her dancers and Les Twins during the tribal-themed set.

A snippet of the song, which was produced by Timbaland and penned by The-Dream, can be heard in her Pepsi “Mirrors” commercial.

G.O.O.D. Music’s Teyana Taylor was in the audience and tweeted, “Queen Bey. Carried. Snatched. Slayyyeeedddd.”

A new B song called “Standing on the Sun” can also be heard in her upcoming H&M commercial, which is set to debut on May 5.

Watch the first live performance of “Grown Woman” below.

The way she works her body is just amazing. I bet once she hits the U.S. she is going to be incorporating more and more new songs into her set. That’s the thing with her, she switches up her routines here and there so everything won’t be expected.

But lol at her saying “sing it!” and no one really knows the words! This would be the perfect time for her to release the song!!!

@Cici, she didn’t ask the crowd to sing the entire song. not hard to say “I’m a grown woman.”

    [Reply]

    CiCi Reply:

@listen, that’s obvious! I said exactly what I meant – she hasn’t released the full song so I found it funny that she would say “sing it” as she always does. There were other parts besides the “I’m a grown woman” where she said that. It’s not that serious.

Michael Jackson took from everything, African dance to street dancing. It was a b-boy who showed him how to moon walk.

Even his music was inspired by other music and culture. That’s what other great artist do, they’re inspired by other culture and artist. Only a hater would try to single Beyonce out.

Too many to count. They’re cultures and I’m glad Beyonce is paying respect to it. You stans get on my nerves with your copy cat theories. At least RESEARCH before you make claims.

@deelee, You act like Rihanna been in the gave for over a decade like Bey. She is ONLY 25. Look at what Rihanna has accomplished at 25 to what Beyonce was doing at 25. At 27 Beyonce’s net worth was 80 million, that was her first time on Forbes. At 24 Rihanna’s net worth was 90 million. Rihanna is well on her way. They both have plenty money. This song sucks..but she always lights up the stage as usual. She’s a VIRGO! Now, her dancing is the same ol’ same…she needs some new moves. If we can nit-pick on Rih, same goes for Bey.

Is it just me or does it seem as if Beyonce is running out of dance moves. For a minute it was creative and unique, but now it seems a bit recycled :/ Maybe it’s just a rough draft of the performance, but hopefully she doesn’t pull this kinda stuff at an award show or something.

  53. Fact

Lets not forget the multiple leaders of countries with severe human rights violations where she accepts blood money from for private performances.

Nobody remember this entertainer took money from ghadafi? Anyone who looks up to someone like this, or company that sponsors her has their priorities messed up.

Beyonce does a lets move ad but then sponsors a major cause of obesity in Pepsi.

She stays hypocritical and dancing in heels isn’t a role model
