New Music: Mavado f/ Nicki Minaj – ‘Give It All to Me’

Give It All to Me

Fresh off her collaboration with Sean Paul (“Entertainment”), Nicki Minaj jumps on Jamaican star Mavado’s new single “Give It All to Me,” produced by Ja Productions. The Trini gal returns to her island roots, singing and rapping in a Caribbean accent as she rides the overdrive riddim.

“I hit up Instagram, post some nudes up,” raps Nicki, while shouting out fellow islander Rihanna. “Caribbean girls run it, ask RiRi.”

Dutty wine to their reggae rhythm.

@KeepItReal, But who’s calling her for a feature?

    [Reply]

    TeamMinajUSVI Reply:

@KeepItReal, How the hell is Nicki copying Foxy when Nicki is from the Caribbean. If she wants to do a feature that has to do with dancehall she can do it cuz there is no rule that she can’t. Anybody can collaborate with an artist from the islands. People like you always with copy this and copy that. It’s not about copying it’s about two artist coming together doing an amazing song. Stop being so negative and live your life and stop worrying about hers and everyone else’s.

The way she says badgyal reminds me such much of Fox Boggie, which is a good thing. She would be perfect for a remix of this.

Ugh! This sounds so fresh! This with headphones is heaven! Mavado’s voice is so great! Nicki straight MURKED.
Has anyone noticed when Nicki does a reggae feature she says “ayo, (insert guys name)

    “Ayo, Sean…”
    “Ayo, Gyptian…”
    “Ayo, Mavado..”

    That’s something I randomly picked up, I don’t know.
Anyway, I will be buying the song on iTunes. I love it!

Moments like this is the reason why I stick by her through thick and thin. This is why she’s THE female rapper. What other female rapper could do tracks like this? Rap and sing to a reggae tune? NOBODY (Nicki Minaj) voice.

Khia sung AND rap on Miley Cyrus’s remix of ‘We Cant Stop” which has 1,000,000 on youtube right now and plus Khia can sing and rap 10x better than Nicki. But the song with Mavado was cute tho……

    [Reply]

    Andy Reply:

@channel_ROMAN, exactly. This bums keep throwing names of random females on the Internet (a.k.a. Lil Kim) saying that they are better but I don’t see any labels or TV shows or radio stations interested in them.

    [Reply]

    Onika Miraj Reply:

@KAMBAMBOOM, Khia is pathetic. Did you see her little rant on twitter about Nic? LOL. She obviously was trying to get attention but she made herself look like a fool. I’m glad Nicki ignored her.
