Drake to Host and Perform on 'SNL'

OVO is taking over “SNL.” Fresh off his “Would You Like a Tour,” Drake will host and perform on the first “Saturday Night Live” of the new year.

The Canadian rapper will pull double duty on the January 18 episode of the show, it was announced on Saturday. He previously served as musical guest opposite Anna Faris in 2011.

The former “Degrassi” star can currently be seen on the big screen, making a cameo in the comedy Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

He recently received five Grammy nominations in categories including Best Rap Album for Nothing Was the Same.
