New Music: Future – ‘Good Morning’

Future

After debuting it live at SXSW, Future drops the studio version of his unreleased song “Good Morning” via Hot 107.9′s Durtty Boyz. The song sounds like a demo for Beyoncé’s “Drunk in Love,” with Future even singing, “We be all night.” It was also produced by Detail, who produced Bey’s hit record.

Future explained the track’s origins. “I was recording with this producer by the name of Detail. We were working on ‘Drunk in Love,’” he told concertgoers in Austin. “We started working on this other record at the same time, and then once ‘Drunk in Love’ came out it pushed this song to the side. At the same time, it’s one of my favorite songs that didn’t make the album.”

Adding to the confusion, Future even released his own remix to “Drunk in Love” in late January.

“Good Morning” will not appear on Future’s sophomore album Honest, due April 22.

    No. Reply:

@NOacid, Can you even read? Clearly the issue is Detail giving away his beat twice.

    Meme Reply:

@No., it’s just not the beat. The melody the flow the words the style everything is identical. Anyone who calls beyonce a song writer is a joke. Drake, frank, Miguel and now future had to write for this frauds album. Real song writers don’t need help

Beyonce stole everything she could from the amazing images of Ciara and Future’s tastefully sexy Bodyparty to make her slut whore drunk video, attacking poor old senior tina turner. What the sam hell did Tina do to her?

Well, in the Visual Album documentary, she said “Drunk in Love” was already written and she changed the words to her liking. So she admitted to “stealing” this already. #TrialFailed

Yet beyone claims she wrote drunk in love. Why does she always do this? Just give ppl their freakin credit. Such a fraud

@Meme, Did you watch the interviews for her album ? Clearly you didn’t . She never said she wrote the whole song , she switched some words around . Please stop reaching .

@Bitches In Paris, lol i bet someone wrote the whole album for her and she just changed one word in each song so she could put her name in the credits. She stole ‘If I Were A Boy’ so I’m not surprised

Where and when did Beyoncé say she wrote Drunk In Love? Boots said “I came up with the concept and she basically wrote the whole thing”, which one these two tracks have the same lyrics? The lyrics are completely different, ya’ll keep trying it with the stealing accusations.

    [Reply]

  16. Chris

Why ya’ll bringing Beyonce’s name into this mess, Detail was the one that came to Bey with the beat, she didn’t steal it! And Detail himself said it that Beyonce basically wrote most of the song himself. Please leave Beyonce’s name alone. Ya’ll annoying.

    [Reply]

  17. Sommer

He’s trying it! He changed that shit to sound like Bey’s song. Her song been out three months and he TRIED to remix DIL and failed! Now, he comes out with this. It’s so obvious!

    The songs sound different!

Beyoncé wins! Her song slaughters this mess! lmaooo

Some people are so stupid in terms of comprehension smh… Its obvious Detail shopped the beat to Future but Bey ultimately got the song. And duh!!! Of course its going to sound similar since its the same producer who PRODUCED the song and came with the concept as he said in the video explaining the origins of the song. Future had nothing to do with writing Drunk In Love, he just didn’t get that particular song because it was pushed to the side which he missed it, thats on him… I swear some of you want to see Bey fall and pray for her downfall which is not going to happen. @meme get a damn life and go read a book or something; You lack alot of common sense and braincells. Im done.. anyways his version is not that bad, but he can keep it too really.

I don’t think Future meant he wrote Drunk in Love, I think he was saying him and Detail were working on the song, meaning the production and arrangement and Detail produced both songs so why would Future be lying because his album was scheduled for a November/December release then got pushed back to 2014, so I don’t think he’s saying she stole the song or anything, but I’m assuming he’s saying he was gonna release Good Morning, but Bey dropped Drunk in Love so she beat him to the punch. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Future did help co write the song seeing as how he wrote Where You Go by Ciara, My Darlin’ by Miley and Loveeeeeee Song by Rihanna and they all have similar lyrical content and production…
