Video: Willow Smith - 'F Q-C #7'

  /  05.07.2015

Willow Smith has come a long way since “Whip My Hair.” The 14-year-old singer-songwriter showcases her evolution in the artsy video for her new single “F Q-C #7.” The quirky clip, which she co-directed, stars Willow and her four Chakras. Each one plays a different instrument, while Willow climbs in trees and hits the streets in overalls and a Tupac T-shirt.

“The different Me’s represent my Chakras,” she told The FADER. “Yellow is Self-confidence, Blue is my voice (song), Red is my survival instinct, and the Black is a combination of everything (the true me).”

The self-produced song was inspired by her favorite band, Girlpool. “Girlpool, tUnE-yArDs, and Cree Summer really were the women who inspired me to make this song,” she said.

Willow and her brother Jaden will play the U.K.’s Wireless Festival on July 5.
