Video: Young Thug - 'Power'

Young Thug gets trippy in his new video for “Power” off his Slime Season mixtape. Although not quite as psychedelic as the “Best Friend” clip earlier this month (in which Thug made love to himself and ate himself for dinner), it’s no slouch.

Thug, who co-directed, sips lean while walking down the street in front of a cemetery as the sky changes between shades of hallucinatory blue and green. There’s also a scene on a basketball court, where he raps while sitting in the net and riding a hoverboard.

We also see him briefly but effectively break an opponent’s legs with some fast footwork and drive to the net for a layup. Yes, Thugger can hoop.
