Lil Wayne Says 'Dedication 6' Is 'Coming Soon'

  /  11.24.2017

Lil Wayne is feeling thankful this Thanksgiving. On Thursday (Nov. 23), the New Orleans MC took to Instagram with an update for his loyal supporters.

“Happy Thanksgiving,” he wrote. “I’m so thankful for all my fans for standing by me while I’m enduring this fight with this label. I ain’t shit without y’all! D6 is coming y’all way soon! Thank You.”

Wayne’s update arrives shortly after his manager Cortez Bryant said Dedication 6 would arrive this month. “Maybe D6 in November,” he said. “Not December. That’s too long.”

In April of last year, Tunechi confirmed that the project would be a collaboration with DJ Drama. “I’ve also been working on some crazy shit for a mixtape and we just didn’t have a good name for it yet,” he said. “But it might as well just be a Dedication.”

In the meantime, Weezy’s Tha Carter V remains in limbo. He is still suing Cash Money for $51 million in a legal battle that has turned personal. Most recently, he also threatened to shut down Young Money over issues with Birdman.
