Run the Jewels Teams with 'Rick and Morty' in 'Oh Mama' Video
“Rick and Morty” continue their hip-hop takeover. After helping Logic announce Bobby Tarantino II, the animated duo joins forces once again in Run the Jewels’ video for “Oh Mama.”
Helmed by “Rick and Morty” director Juan Meza-Leon, the colorful clip opens with Rick and Morty traveling through space, confronting a crew of aliens with laser guns. Their intergalactic war is soundtracked by in-your-face bars from Killer Mike and El-P.
But as the pulsating beat continues to bump, Rick and Morty’s adventure continues. Rocking sunglasses and suits like characters in Men in Black or Pulp Fiction, Rick and Morty zap aliens and fly through portals.
The visual for the Run the Jewels 3 single comes ahead of the Adult Swim Festival, which RTJ is set to headline. The event is scheduled to take place Oct. 6-7 in downtown Los Angeles.
Killer Mike and El-P are currently on select dates of Lorde’s “Melodrama Tour,” which is set to continue through Apr. 15 in Nashville.
