Lil Wayne Joins Twitter: 'Follow Me Biotch'

With about a week to go before he heads to prison, Lil Wayne has finally decided to join Twitter.

The Cash Money rapper, who goes by the Twitter name @liltunechi, wrote his inaugural tweet on Sunday night. “im super new to this twitter shit but wudup tho !……….follow me biot¢h……….wudup mak……happy bday LO……8 days of freedom..ym,” he said.

Weezy is currently following 10 people through his verified account. Among them are Young Money affiliates Lil Twist, Mack Maine, and Shanell, as well as R&B crooner Trey Songz.

In a Ustream video from earlier this month, Wayne claimed that he was not computer savvy, joking that he’s only familiar with the power button and space bar on the computer.

He is scheduled to start serving his one-year jail sentence on March 2. His management told Rolling Stone that they may use Twitter to keep his fans posted while’s he away.
