Lil Jon Bares His Chest in 'Ms. Chocolate' Video
Count on the King of Crunk, Lil Jon, to liven up the set of any music video he’s featured in. While he’s turned his screaming catchphrases down a notch, the producer extraordinaire turns up the heat by showing off his gym physique in the video for “Ms. Chocolate,” an ode to dark-skinned curvaceous cuties, which will appear on his forthcoming effort, Crunk Rock.
The Mickey Finnegan-produced clip showcases Lil Jon in rare form—without some articles of clothing. “I got my shirt off,” the rapper tells staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud. “You ain’t never seen Lil Jon this clean, smooth, both R&B [and] hip-hop-ish.”
Not quick to give away the video’s premise, Jon did assure that the images, shot in Chicago, were reminiscent of one revered director’s style. “It reminds you of one of those old-school Hype Williams videos, where it’s just nice and polished,” he reveals. “There’s a different kind of editing on it.”
As for cameos, count on appearances from the two crooners featured on the track. “R. Kelly and Mario are definitely in the video,” he admits. And what about the ladies in front of the camera? “There’s not a lot, but we got some voluptuous women. We got models and different types of chocolate girls in the video,” Jon states. “It’s a classy, upscale video. It’s totally opposite of ‘Outta Your Mind.'”
