Eminem Leads 2010 American Music Awards Nominations

Eminem’s year keeps getting better and better. The rapper, along with country band Lady Antebellum, leads the nominations for the 2010 American Music Awards with five nods, it was announced today.

Pop sensation Justin Bieber, who grabs four nominations, will vie for Artist of the Year with Eminem, Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry. B.o.B, Perry, Ke$ha, and Usher earn three apiece and Drake scores two nominations for his debut Thank Me Later.

Taio Cruz and Demi Lovato were on hand to announce the nominees this morning from the JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE. Usher, P!nk, and Bon Jovi were also announced as performers for the 38th annual AMAs. Additional acts and presenters will be revealed in the coming weeks.

The live broadcast will take place at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE on Sunday, November 21 (8:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT) on ABC.
