The blowout from Chris Brown’s “Good Morning America” appearance doesn’t seem to be affecting his sales. The R&B crooner is expected to debut big on next week’s Billboard chart.

Early projections indicate that Chris’ fourth album F.A.M.E. will open at No. 1 with a total of 250-275,000 copies in its first week, according to HITS Daily Double. That would make it the second-largest debut of the year behind Adele’s 21 (351,000).

The 21-year-old singer’s last album, 2009’s Graffiti, sold less than half of that, entering at No. 7 with 102,500. While nowhere near his goal of a million copies, the predicted figures are more than respectable.

Breezy’s comeback efforts seem to be working. “My last Graffiti album was only 100,000, but it was a lot more added to it back then,” he previously told Angie Martinez. “Right now it’s a more comfortable position. People are accepting the music now.”

Elsewhere, Jennifer Hudson’s sophomore album I Remember Me is anticipated to do 150-175,000 in sales. Her self-titled debut moved 217,000 units in 2008.
