Jason Aldean and Ludacris

Ludacris is going country. The Atlanta rapper headed to Nashville to debut his collaboration “Dirt Road Anthem” with country crooner Jason Aldean at the 2011 CMT Music Awards. The laid-back tune, co-produced by Big K.R.I.T., meshes the hip-hop and country worlds together for an out-of-the-box collabo not heard since Nelly and Tim McGraw’s genre-bending hit “Over and Over.”

“I love stretching the outer limits of where music can potentially go & collaborating w/ artists that nobody expects me to,” tweeted Luda, who declared, “History has been made!” during the live show.
