New Music: J. Cole - 'Maine on Fire'

  /  04.17.2013

J. Cole

J. Cole ignites a lyrical firestorm on the self-produced “Maine on Fire,” which he recorded a year-and-a-half ago. The Roc Nation MC performed the Raphael Saadiq-sampled track last fall, but it never saw the light of day.

Now it lives on Funkmaster Flex’s mixtape Who You Mad At? Me or Yourself, along with contributions from Cam’ron and Lil Wayne, Mac Miller, A$AP Rocky, Wale, and more.

Here’s something to hold you over until Cole’s sophomore album Born Sinner drops on June 25.
