In March, Jennifer Lopez hit the studio with Chris Brown to work on new music. Now the pop megastar is sharing more details about their collaborations.

During an interview with “Extra,” the 43-year-old singer said the music will remind fans of her older material. “Yes, we were in the studio, writing songs and just getting that ‘Jenny From the Block’ flavor back,” she told Mario Lopez.

They recorded more than one song for her upcoming 10th album. “We actually worked on a bunch of ideas…and we talked about doing a duet together for his album,” she said.

J.Lo’s new album is due this summer, but she doesn’t have a title yet. The RedOne-produced first single, “Live It Up” featuring Pitbull, is set to premiere on Wednesday, May 8.

Chris is also eyeing a Lopez duet for his forthcoming album X. “I got a couple other songs on my album that would be a great girl feature, especially for me and J.Lo,” he told Power 106. “I just want to do a dope dance video with me and her.”
