New Music: K. Michelle - 'He Gets Me'

After launching her “Rebellious Soul” tour earlier in the week, K. Michelle shows some fan appreciation by dropping a new song called “He Gets Me.” On the piano-driven record, the R&B songstress sings the praises of a man who understands her.

“‘Cause this dude he gets me/ He don’t disappoint me/ Before I say it, he know it/ Before I kiss him, he kiss me/ Somebody finally gets me,” she sings.

She plans to release more music later this month as part of her Rebellious Soul Christmas.

“Just wanted to give my Rebels something special tonight. Cant wait for you all to hear the new Christmas Music,” tweeted K.

She will also perform at the Soul Train Music Awards, which tapes tonight in Las Vegas and airs Dec. 1.
