Fat Joe Released From Prison

Fat Joe has a lot to be grateful for this Thanksgiving. The Bronx rapper was released from prison a month early.

In August, the 43-year-old began serving a four-month sentence for tax evasion after failing to pay taxes on $3 million in income between 2007-2010, totaling a tax loss of $718,038. He was scheduled to go home in late December, but got an early release.

He posted a video of himself surprising his daughter at home on Thanksgiving.

“HAPPY THANKSGIVING DADDY’s HOME!!!!!” said Joe.

Prior to beginning his sentence, he dropped his album The Darkside 3 featuring contributions from Action Bronson, DJ Premier, 9th Wonder, and Cool & Dre.
