Mac Miller is moving on. After four years, the rapper has parted ways with indie label Rostrum Records.

According to MTV News, the Pittsburgh MC has decided not to renew his deal after his contract expired. However, Miller and Rostrum remain on good terms.

“Rostrum is my family. That is forever,” said Miller. “No matter what, we will always work together. We moved mountains and I can only see them continuing that tradition. I am grateful for everything I learned and am always here for whatever.”

Rostrum Records founder and president Benjy Grinberg added, “Mac is an incredible artist and has a bright career ahead of him. We are proud of the historic run that we had together and we will continue to support him in any way that is needed. We wish him nothing but the best in the future.”

Miller first signed to the label and management company in 2010 when he released his mixtape K.I.D.S. (Kickin’ Incredibly Dope Shit).

He put out two albums on Rostrum—his 2011 debut Blue Slide Park, which entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1, and his sophomore album Watching Movies With the Sound Off, which debuted at No. 3 in June.
