Kanye West Celebrates 'College Dropout' 10th Anniversary with Kim Kardashian
The College Dropout turned 10 on Monday, and Kanye West celebrated the anniversary of his seminal debut with his closest friends and family at an intimate dinner at Nobu.
Mr. West was joined by his bride-to-be Kim Kardashian and pals including Joe “3H” Weinberger and Ibn Jasper. ‘Ye was all smiles as he was presented with a huge cake in the shape of the dropout bear that said “College Dropout – 10 Year Anniversary.”
Earlier in the day, he reflected on the milestone. “Ten years later I am still the same kid from Chicago, still dreaming out loud, still banging on the door,” tweeted Kanye. “The doors may be heavier, but I promise you WE WILL BREAK THEM.”
Kim also chimed in, tweeting, “Happy anniversary to the best producer/artist over the past decade!!!! Can’t wait for the next 10 years!”
On Thursday, Kanye will return to the road for additional dates on his “Yeezus Tour.”
