Lady Gaga returned to her home of New York City for the first of seven shows at Roseland Ballroom, marking the final performances at the historic hall. The pop superstar, who turned 28 on Friday, celebrated her birthday with 3,200 of her Little Monsters.

She pulled up to the venue in a yellow rose-covered taxi and emerged in a skin-colored bodysuit adorned with roses.

With her parents looking on, she kicked off the one-hour show with an acoustic version of “Born This Way” and ran through six wardrobe changes while performing hits including “Just Dance,” “Dope,” and “Bad Romance,” closing with her latest single “G.U.Y.”

“Don’t ever leave me, OK, I love you so much,” she told her fans during a piano version of “Poker Face.”

Gaga will play six more shows throughout the week, culminating on April 7.
