New Music: Jazmine Sullivan - 'Forever Don't Last'

Forever Don't Last

Earlier this year, Jazmine Sullivan returned to the scene with her Meek Mill-assisted single “Dumb.” The Philly songstress continues her comeback with her second single “Forever Don’t Last.” On the soulful acoustic jam, she channels her emotions as she reflects on the demise of her relationship.

“And I tried to believe that we could make it / But trying don’t work / So I just have to face that forever doesn’t last too long these days,” she sings.

Her first album in four years, Reality Show, is due later this year. “I really think with this album there is a more current sound,” Jazmine told ABC News Radio. “I’ve always done a lot of different things, but with this particular album I feel like it’s going to attract a lot of younger kids who may not have been into my stuff before.”

Hear her pour her heart out on the emotional ballad.
