Common and John Legend’s week keeps getting better. Fresh off their Golden Globe win, the rapper and singer have been nominated for an Oscar at the 87th Academy Awards.

Their powerful song “Glory” from Selma scored a nod for Original Song when the nominees were announced on Thursday (Jan. 15).

They will compete against “Everything Is Awesome” from The Lego Movie, “Grateful” from Beyond the Lights, “I’m Not Gonna Miss You” from Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me, and “Lost Stars” from Begin Again.

They took to Twitter to share their happiness for the nomination, which was announced on Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday.

On Sunday, the pair won Best Original Song at the Golden Globes, beating out fellow nominees including Lorde and Lana Del Rey.

Rita Ora, who recorded the Diane Warren-penned “Grateful” for Beyond the Lights, also acknowledged the Academy for the nomination. If the song wins, only the songwriter(s) will receive the award.

The 87th Academy Awards will air live on Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. on ABC. See a full list of nominees here.
